Francisco Cabrera-Hernández, PhD.


 I am a development economist with an interest in human capital accumulation.

I hold a PhD in Economics from the University of Sussex. In 2022, I joined the Department of Economics at Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económica (CIDE) in Mexico City.  

 I have served as an Associate Research Fellow at the Higher School of Economics (HSE) in Moscow, and worked as a consultant for the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank  (IADB), the Inter-American Conference on Social Security (CISS), the British Embassy in Mexico, and as Director of Research at CREFAL, an international organisation funded by UNESCO.
