Francisco Cabrera-Hernández, PhD.
I hold a PhD in Economics from the University of Sussex. In 2022 I joined the department of Economics at Centro de Investigación y Docencia Economicas (CIDE) in Mexico City. I am also an Associate Research Fellow at the Higher School of Economics (HSE).
I have served as a consultant for the World Bank, the Inter-American Conference on Social Security (CISS), the British Embassy in Mexico, and as Director of Research at CREFAL, an international organisation funded by UNESCO.
My research interests relate to the Economics of Education, Early Childhood Investments and Labour Markets.
